. . . to The Antique Center of Red Bank.
The Red Bank Antique Center has been the destination for dealers, decorators,
stage designers, and collectors for over 40 years. The center was started in 1964
by Nan Johnson as a permanent antique show with 12 dealers. It has grown to over
100 dealers in three buildings within walking distance of each other. The Antique
Center is now run by her son, Guy Johnson, and has grown to be the largest
antique district in New Jersey.

Open seven days a week from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
(opens Sunday at 12:00 noon) and located near the
Jersey Shore with hotels,
B&B’s , theaters and many fine restaurants and cafes nearby, it is a worthwhile
day trip or weekend excursion for discovering and
finding that special something. Shop in air conditioned
comfort as you browse booth after booth of unique
glassware, china, furniture, silver, pottery, linens,
jewelry and hard to find items.
Housed in what seems to be an enormous two story
red barn, this is the place to be if you want that certain
something that’s not to be found in ordinary stores.
In fact, you would have to go to garage sales from sun
up to sun down for the next twenty years before you could begin to have the same sort
of selection that you find at the Antique Center of Red Bank.
Can’t find what you are looking for? The long time
owner, Guy Johnson, can usually be found behind
the counter and he is happy to assist any and all
people in need. His ability and knowledge of the
current antique market is amazing. It is obvious
he enjoys his job. In fact, his success has also
given him two more antique markets that are both
just across the street.
While many people have experienced antique
hunting in online sites, nothing will ever replace
the joy and satisfaction of holding a treasured antique or collectible in your hands. The thriving antique markets of Red Bank are
proof of this. Plan a visit for an afternoon or a day, you are sure to have a great time! |
